Stem Cell Facelift

Non-Surgical Facelift in Cleveland, Ohio

You’ve heard about it in the news, and now, the new Stem Cell Facelift has come to Ohio. The revolutionary new facelift procedure, made popular by celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Bar Rafaeli, uses your own blood to achieve a more youthful appearance – hence the procedure’s nickname.

How Does a Stem Cell Facelift Work?

The name “Stem Cell Facelift” can be a little misleading because the treatment is less like a facelift (which repositions loose, sagging skin), and more similar to injectable and filler treatments. At first, the procedure may sound a bit odd, but it is quite simple and approved by the FDA for use as a filler. Rather than using acids or toxins like other non-surgical injectables and fillers, the Stem Cell Facelift uses your own blood to fight common signs of aging such as:

  • Fine lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Loss of facial volume

The Stem Cell Facelift Procedure

When you come in for a Stem Cell Facelift, Dr. Quereshy will draw blood from your arm. The platelets are separated from the red blood cells and then blended together with a fibrin mixture. The solution is then injected into the skin below the wrinkle or line being targeted just like with a Botox or Juvéderm injection.

The mixture of the blood platelets and fibrin works to stimulate your body’s own natural collagen production, smoothing out delicate lines and wrinkles on the surface of your skin.

Is a Stem Cell Facelift Right for Me?

Stem Cell Facelift is best for areas of the face that have lost volume or for mild facial lines or wrinkles. The treatment works best for people with thinner skin, which is common with age. However, because the treatment uses your own blood, it cannot be used on a full face due to the limited supply of product. You don’t want to have too much blood drawn.

Stem Cell Facelift Results Compared to Similar Treatments

Like other injectables and fillers, the Stem Cell facelift is a fairly quick procedure and requires little to no downtime. The results of a Stem Cell Facelift treatment have been shown to last twice as long as other treatments, topping out at about 15 months. Also, because you are injected with your own blood, the treatment minimizes the chance of bruising and eliminates the risk of allergic reactions.
